O-man said "i get the frustration but that is why warranty does come with the item, I mean its impossible to make anything perfectly and lifelong, sometimes it just happens but at least they are going to do something about it, lots of places don't . "
I was not expecting perfection and certainly not life long. I was expecting an new appliance that worked at least for a decent amount of time before it required "fixing". I can't believe that having repairs done to a 2 wk old stove would be "okay" with anyone out there.
The "at least doing something" falls short,.
The run around from the "call centers" , having a chat with a "virtual" agent (Iva) waiting for pickup by a person and then getting disconnected and starting all over again, talking to an agent who sounds like you are cutting into their coffee time all the while being told " your call is important to us" and listening to another ad for some more garbage they are selling. I called 4 times before I got through.
There was a discussion at one point on this site regarding "throw away" goods, few things built to last , not worth fixing, parts rare , service people getting rarer.
Seems an uphill fight or all out war to just get the basics.... fulfillment of the contract between customer and retailer/manufacturer in an even handed manner. Manufacturers releasing faulty goods onto the marketplace because it is more expedient/profitable to recall than to fix their problem before it becomes our problem. The amount of aggravation this causes to me, I didn't rush into buying this brand, I thought I got the best for me for what I could afford ( always told to not lend too much credence to online reviews) and unless I am committed to undertaking a Herculean fight consuming my every fiber I am lacking. I am there for deserving of my misfortune.....really ?
All I did was walk into a store , bought a stove expecting it to work. Just saying.....
