Hi, just wondering if there are any other owners out there with the Soul red paint problems. I bought a 2021.5 Mazda CX5 back in January and the paint job on the car is a disgrace. We have lots 60+ spots on the hood and pillars where it looks like the paint has been hit with a small BB. When checking the internet there are tons of reports with the same issue.  
Car was bought from Forman Mazda. I am a waiting for a reply as to what they plan on doing to fix this issue. I was told this is also an issue on the new Sonic Silver paint colour. Seems the problems with the Soul Red has been going on for a few years. Buyer beware.

Hi - had the same problem with 2017 Mazda CX5 with the red crystal paint. Forman Mazda repainted the affected areas in late 2020 and have not had issues since. Would suggest you take the vehicle there and speak with the service manager to arrange an appointment for photos and they will pursue with Mazda.

Hi, I have done that recently, service manager took some pictures and sent them off to Mazda Canada. We got home from Brandon and noticed a whole bunch more spots on the car. Since Mazda Canada has known about this issue with their paint since at least 2016 I believe a visit to a lawyer is going to be my next step.

I purchased my 2017 CX5 in Feb 2018 so I do think there should have been disclosure about the paint at time of purchase. Good luck and I hope you will post the outcome here. There are a lot of Mazdas in this color in Brandon.

I'll post more as I get info. Sadly it's not only the Soul red that's the issue.
