So i believe the Kinsmen and the Keystone outdoor pools are “closed for mechanical maintenance and fixing”. does anyone know when they will be open again, and what their problem was? It’s nearly 32°C+ and there’s no public pools to cool off in, very sad!

The Keystone pool closed years ago already. That was our go-to one with the kids. At the time, they cited cost to repair/revamp as being prohibitive. I believe the repairs were necessary to continue to have a permit from the province, but I might be misremembering that part.  
 
The Kinsmen/Rideau pool is listed as postponed due to mechanical issues and no date has been announced. If it's like anything else in the world, it's probably waiting on parts or something else that's out of their control.
