Once a cheater always a cheater

with this ( as far as I know) I would say probably

From experience, thrice, yes (not me, but goodness I did not choose men well when I was a young adult).

Abso-freaking-lutely. And if they’ll cheat with you, they’ll cheat on you too

Not sure it is fair to judge all people who have cheated the same. It depends on the person and the circumstances. How much remorse was felt if any and if that person is willing to change.

Since I have known a few cheaters-not mi e but friends and family members-in most cases, yes. There is no doubt a minority who did cheat once but won't do it again. I know 2 of those.

I think it helps people to understand how complex human nature is and that not all situations around cheating are the same. There are many scenarios where someone might cheat on their partner. There may be issues in the relationship resulting in one person looking elsewhere. Some of the reasons may fall back on poor communication, poor boundary setting and poor emotional maturity on both sides. In some cases the person doing the cheating may feel his/her needs aren't being met. In other cases it was a moment of weakness and in some cases the individual doing the cheating feels somehow entitled to cheat. It is indeed a complicated behaviour. Bottomline is the loss of trust and the pain caused is really hard to overcome by most people. Most times it results in a break in the relationship though some people seem to find a way to stay together and work it out.  
I have never cheated and have never been cheated on but I do have family who got caught in this situation. It peaked my interest to read a little more about it. That's why I am sharing my thoughts here.

They done it once they will do it again as they got away with it.

It will take a hell of a lot of hard work and honesty though. Seek help.

Once trust is gone the relationship is over. Besides, why stick around to find out the answer? That level of disrespect is unforgivable in my opinion, but to each their own.

It's the complexity of being a human. The human mind, emotions, and body are truly complicated. Would a cheater do it again ? It is possible and yet its possible that they wont? Is it possible for someone who hasn't cheat to cheat? It is possible and again may never happen? It's it right or is it wrong? The answer will depends on who you ask? Cheating can cause emotional pain it could also bring emotinal enlightenment. Again it depends on who is answering the question. I can't say for sure one way or another. All I know is I am human, with complicated theories, strong mix emotion, and sometimes with an ounce of reasoning. HUMAN never the less.
