I am needing to go to Ottawa for my Nigerian Passport Renewal . I have done everything required, but I need a PASSPORT RENEWAL INVITATION CONFIRMATION and I am not sure what this is or where to print it off or anything. I have been calling the Commission office for over a month, and not any word. I have sent in email, but they just replied with a copy and paste of documents that are needed....which I have, besides that Invitation Conformation. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that might help me. I am feeling a bit streessed and my appointment is coming up.

I don't even have a canadian passport so take this with a grain or a maybe even a pound of salt, but I would assume that the word invitation means you need something from the embassy of the host country, in this case Nigeria ?  
 
Like a letter of authorization from them allowing you to apply ?

That is possible. But they state that it is an Interview Letter, could it be the conformation of my interview that I booked online? Or is there something else? I am so confused

as per my initial post - if you can maybe re-read it? I said I have been calling for over a month now.. I call and call and call never getting anyone.. I have left spam amount of voicemails over and over and over and over again... But I get absolutely no response back. Obviously calling them would make the most sense, but what to do when you can get ahold of anyone ?

To the OP, there is an increasing number of Nigerian expats living here. Are you connected to any of them? Have none of them tried recently? I've vaguely heard of some travelling to Ottawa for this but I don't know the process.

Go to the Federal Building on 12th and Richmond behind Jiffy store. They should be able to put you in the right direction for what you need. Don't forget to take all correspondence material with you when you go. No appointment necessary just walk in
