Hi there, I dont like the fact that it has come to this but with the times right now life is a bit of a struggle. I am a single parent, I work full time but right now I am struggling to pay for everything and I am asking if anyone may be willing to spare some food or drinks you may not need. I deeply appreciate anything that anyone may be willing to spare.

Not sure if you're on Facebook, but if you are there is a great group called Mutual Aid Society (Brandon) you can post on. Many of us help people in need who post there.

The food rescue store as well. I wish I could help, but unfortunately My family is in the same boat as you. Could try reaching out to the Christmas Cheer for a holiday hamper as well. Hopefully not too late to get one. Samaritan food bank is where we finally had to go. Maybe not what you would purchase for the family, but it fills the tummy!I wish your family all the best. Everything 1.50 or less have used it for canned vegetables, pasta, few drinks even have bread some days. It’s great price if you want a variety of different stuff.

I'm sorry it's come to this for you. Try accessing the food bank. Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes! I've been channelling my extra money to those places as they have much greater buying power and can get more bang for the buck..  
 
In addition to Samaritan House, the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Augustine Church gives out food hampers on Wednesday afternoons. Contact the church for more details.  
 
It's unimaginable to me to literally have nothing to eat. Sadly, so many people are facing this right now.
