Just wondering who you deal with for house insurance and the cost and service. I am thinking of changing to another provider.

Make sure you list all improvements and ensure everything is listed correctly, things like age of hot water tank , type of water supply shut off valve, type of sewer back up valves installed , type make age of furnace, any upgrades like new roofing or windows etc. I updated all of that and got a cheque back for $400 which was unexpected. I was only concerned that it was all correctly listed.

Took our upcoming policy in and they reviewed it gave us a far better policy and lower rate.  
Worth checking it out.

I move here last year from another province, I went to  
Guild insurance they do multiple companies quotes. I got to pick which one I preferred after they explained very well the difference between the insurance. They were fast and efficient with the whole situation. Very friendly too.
