Is there a 24/7 Pharmacy or Drug Store in Brandon? If not why not? I dont understand what one can do when in the middle of the night you need some medicine for any reason and you dont have at home or sometimes they expire or any reason at all. Even Superstore and Walmart lock up all their drugs around 9 or 10pm and now Shoppers Drugmart closes at 10, what are the options besides going to the ER room and wait for 8 hours to see a doctor for a very minor issue that could have been fixed with over the counter medicine?

What are you looking for ? Tylenol, cold/flu meds, can be found for gold prices at 7-11. A lot of places stopped doing 24-7 due to it being unsafe and increases the likelihood of being robbed.

I would venture to say that many people keep a small supply of medications such as Tylenol at home, for this exact reason! Especially if there are children in the house. Those of us that live in rural areas or in small towns are very used to not having stores open past supper time!

If it can be fixed by OTC medicine it does not warrant going to the the ER. Wait until the pharmacy is open and then go to get whatever you needed.

Stock up or wait.

How can one stock up when there is nothing available for purchase? I have been calling pharmacies, checking grocery stores whenever I go out (usually 2 - 3 times per week) and cannot find any. Have you stocked up, and if so, please share how you did so we can help our kids! TIA!

Well, if you can’t get the drugs during the day, what makes you think you would be able to get them after hours if there was a 24/7 pharmacy? Doesn’t make sense

It’s the way of the future I’m afraid. The days of being able to purchase anything that you want whenever you want are gone. The only way will be to stock up on items when they are available and before they are needed. A few weeks ago the shelves in our local pharmacy were full.

None of it makes sense. Cough and cold kids meds in demand and companies cannot keep up! This is a first, and I have been in Canada all of my life!
