Is anyone else still waiting on their "cost of living" carbon tax cheque the government sent out at the end of February? How long do we wait before we reach out to contact someone?

The province started sending them out feb 27 and they will be done in stages. I haven't got mine yet.

People I’ve heard of that got the cheques already were 2 people that posted here on eBrandon on two earlier discussions .
I have no family members or coworkers of mine that have received their cheques.
Govt did say in beginning it could take up to 6 weeks.

There was a notice in local newspaper week or so ago saying cheques were being processed and were on their way.

I just received last homeowners cheque. I bought house over a year ago. I have sent it back to government. So I’m wondering how many people have moved and why government didn’t or couldn’t confirm through other ways of address. Maybe health cards, drivers license, or ID card. ?
Wait and see if I’ll receive one at same address.

They used the address on file with the Canada Revenue Agency. Many people probably didn't think to update it, and so many cheques have gone to the wrong places. Some people who had the wrong address on file with CRA have yet to even receive the first family affordability cheque despite immediately inquiring and correcting their address.

The chq is for manitobansnonly and will be sent to address on your 2021 tax return. I can't remember the site but they did say nit could take up hotel March 31 to receive your chart. There will be no direct deposit for this as this for manitobans only. It is provincial not federal .

I am from MB and just received mine! ..... I heard singles/pensioners get theirs first before the rest

Have single relatives and seniors still waiting and friends who are couples who got them week ago.

I really don’t think there’s any preference to any one group.

Originally said up to 6 weeks which is normal for government . Just be patient they’ll all arrive soon.

My whole family received their CT cheque except us, so I called the number. She said “they are still being mailed out until March 31. If you didn’t receive a cheque AFTER that time, give us a call.“ I think someone else already posted the numbers.
