Grant for hearing aides

Senior on CPP/OAS only income .
with the grant for hearing aides of 2 thousand dollars
how does that work if hearing aides excedes that amount

Understanding of it is the grant is for $2000 and if the hearing aid is more than that, the patient pays the difference. I haven't checked into it too far, but that's how I read it.

Being on CPP/OAS even with the grant still could afford them .saddness

loss is due to noisy environment at your work place workers comp may purchase your hearing aids for you. I worked in auto repair shops for many years and mine are paid for by workers comp. They also pay for the batteries. There are a few hoops to jump thru, like proof of employment, but well worth it. An audiologist is where I would suggest you start and not someone who just sells hearing aids.
