I am on the lookout for an EASY homemade dog food recipe for my small shi tzu bijon cross (14 lbs). He is allergic to chicken for sure (and I can only assume he might be allergic to turkey/other poultry as well). He seems to be a fussy one. We currently mix high quality dry kibble with extra lean ground hamburger and he picks out the kibble or leaves most of the kibble. For the last 3 days we decided to get really strict and only feed him a high quality small bite fish-based kibble only(thinking, if he's hungry he will eat). We know he will eventually eat, but he is not eating much at all. So I think we'll go back to making a dog food. The website is soooo confusing. Thought you guys will have a cut and dried recipe (tried and true as well). Thanks in advance.

I feed raw. I buy it from A Pet Lover's Warehouse and then I add salmon oil, chia seeds, steamed veggies (broccoli and cauliflower and I alternate with green beans) and a raw egg and if I have plain yogurt, I add that, too. I tried a cooked diet once years ago but I felt cooking the food was probably removing the nutrients.
