Previously on discussions, someone suggested that they needed one more sign for the kemnay bridge.  
Found this and just had to share it with you.

Still involves reading. Think it needs to be just a picture board, maybe of the exact bridge, truck right before entering, and a second picture of the trailer completely demolished stuck underneath.

Manitoba highways should just completely shut that route off to semis. This would help save the train bridge and possibly someone's life. If I lived in Kemnay I would get petition going to close it to semis or gravel trucks or any big machinery etc etc.

Someone in Kemney needs to mount cameras aimed at the bridge recording, and when a truck gets stuck post to YouTube. A bridge in Durum, NC also gets hit often despite many warnings and has a YouTube channel. Seems like no matter who many signs and warnings, drivers still ignore them.

If they can't read the 10 signs already there what are the chances that they will read a sign that says closed to large vehicles.  
 
If GPS tells them that this is the route to take that is what they follow. We used GPS to get through Centreport in Winnipeg and told us to turn but the turn off lane had been removed and all there was was a ditch full of water. She kept going missed turn go back. GPS doesn't get offended when you swear at it.

As so many times the signs and alerts have been ignored or not understood, I would suggest that railway crossing gates be installed that can be triggered to close when activated by the sensors that are already there. The sensors activate the flashing lights so add some gates. Having a physical barrier in place may be the answer??

If you can't read, do not understand or chose to ignore signs - get off the road! Enough of this dropping to the lowest common denominator to accommodate idiots.

At this point in the absence of building a flyover the obvious solution is to shut the road to all traffic. That will fix the problem once and for all.

I have seen many signs like “if you hit this sign, you will hit that bridge” type of thing. Or like a clearance bar up the road or something… is there any logical explanation as to why something like that hasn’t gone up??.. I am seriously not following the logic of continuing to let people hit the bridge without anything of the sort being done? Are not tax payers annoyed at the continues unnecessary spending of the money on something that could very well be preventable , atleast more preventable, with something that costs minuscule amounts in comparison to the cost of the repairs of such a bridge?….
