I couldn’t find the previous thread about this but I just read in this weeks Western Producer that a company called ForJars distributing from West Kelowna, BC are manufacturing and selling these lids for canning that were discontinued by bernardin. The company is headquartered in Florida.

Thank you everyone for replying to my previous message regarding the Gem lids. Fortunately I was able to find some at Prairie General store on the outskirts of Plumas., MB. This store is operated by the Old Order Mennonites so, consequently, they have no phone or internet. One has to physically drive there. The cost is $43.50 plus tax for 100 but they will also sell them by the dozen. I'm sorry I don't know the exact price for a dozen but in the neighborhood of $6.00 plus tax.

The Bernardin jars and lids that you are referring to are the wide mouth (86 mm)and standard /regular (70 mm) but not Gem which are 78mm.
