Use VMR Canada for used vehicle valuation.

On top of what others have said, I always check Kijiji, eBrandon classifieds, etc for vehicles the same as what I'm selling to get an idea of the market.

Second the recommendation for VMR. Lets you select trim level, extra features, and even take account of mileage on the vehicle. Then gives you a wholesale and retail estimated value. Adjust from there based on the condition of your car and/or how motivated you are to sell. Cars older than a certain age will just give you three values based on condition rather than mileage and features. Very useful resource whether selling or buying.

Keep in mind there is a shortage of used cars.  
 
When I sold mine it sold within a few hours of posting and more than the price I put on it. Didn’t bother with safety just sold as is.  
 
Gas cars are especially hard to get.  
 
High demand. Higher prices. And make sure to include tire value as tires are expensive.  
 
It is a seller’s market.
