Looking for some info on a solar water system that will work in our winters. Looking for some one who has one or any advice on a good system. Thanks

I don’t use a winter system but I would only deal with Kelln Solar at Lumsden,SK. I have one of their summer solar systems. It’s over twenty years old now. They are at least available for advice, parts and backup after installation.  
There’s another local cowboy selling solar systems who provides no after sales backup.

Hi.  
We have been watering a herd of cows with a solar powered 24V system for years, and for the most part it is quite reliable. In fact the 15 gpm pump can water 50 head of thirsty cows faster than a 3/4 hp 220V pump at the barn.  
 
My advice though is to buy quality equipment, particularly a decent sized solar panel and controller to feed deep cycle batteries during the short hours of sunlight in December and January.

I wouldn't limit your search to just one company lol.  
 
I priced them all, and we chose Sun Stream Solar. Karsten was great, and came and helped with the install. He might have what you need. Also located here in Manitoba.  
This solar pump system we bought will supply 6 different pastures with a mile of line.
