Cortisone shots for pain

Is there a place in Brandon where you can receive a cortisone shot for pain?
Walk in clinic? Or a doctors office?

My Dr gave me a referral to Dr. DeMilleuner and I got in within 10 days.

On who your family doctor is. Some will do the shots, some won't. I have never needed to go through walk in for one.

There is a pain clinic in the hospital. It’s been almost a couple years now but I used to get my cortisone shots there. I believe your family doc needs to send a referral for you

I have to go to the pharmacy, pick up and pay for the drug (around $30 for 2 doses i think?) and take it back to the doctor. It is not covered by Pharmacare.

About this product for OA and RA pain hyaluronic acid I asked the pharmacist they do carry it not covered .

also a herb for pain relief boswellia .
you never know wants going to work for pain until you try .

Took me over 1yr to get my first one after referral, the pain clinic was booking 2yrs out at the time as well.
Then it only helped for about 3 days following the day of injection, after injection I was sore as ever for whole day. I know it helps some. For me it did nothing.

My doctor asked if I wanted one while at my appointment, I said yes and we went to the treatment room. He administered the shot and I paid ten or fifteen bucks at the cashier after.
