Yeah, talk to the realtor of there was one used. We had a rental property we sold years ago, and the tenant didn't tell us the stove was broken (or it quit right around time of possession, we're not sure which). The realtor came back to us and we paid for a new second-had one (I think we agreeded on the price beforehand, and then the lawyer sent the money and it just got rolled into our costs).
In short, like others have said, the property should be more or less in the dame condition as when you bought it, unless your contract states otherwise. Start with your realtor, then kove on to the lawyer.
