We are needing to have a new sidewalk poured. We currently have patio blocks but want to have one poured. Any suggestions on who does this type of work and would give us a quote ?

Have you tried Google? There are several that pop up

I am well aware of the commercial business. My thought was to find someone who does it as a side business. Does your google do those too?

This site is saturated with "will you do my homework for me" threads when all that is required is a little common sense and Google.  
 
Nowhere in your initial thread did you mention someone with a side business. You were asking who does this type of work which puts your thead in the same category as the "where can I buy milk" and "when does this business open" threads. The response was acceptable.

i disagree, that was not an acceptable response. many small, residential contractors do not advertise on google and MANY get their work by word of mouth. contractors who are just handymen might not pour concrete, and some concrete contractors can have a bad reputation. if you're pouring concrete, you want the best.  
 
go with prairie precision construction for this type of work. journeyman carpenter and really good at concrete.

Did you try the eBrandon classifieds. Under "Services" and then "handyman/craftsman". I saw a couple of add for concrete work.

Gotta love eBrandon. Well then I disagree with you. There are lots of contractors that have an online presence this is 2024 after all. There are more than a dozen that pop up by searching. A contractor that doesn't advertise or have an online presense is losing out on business. At least thats the most logical place to start over an anonymous random on a forum. Have a wonderful day.

Thank you Crunchy. I haven't posted on this site for at least 7 years because of the snippy responses . I may not have been clear enough about wanting a smaller contractor. Word of mouth means so much to me, it speaks volumes about the quality of work.  
I don't find google a good gage for recommendations.  
Just wanted to thank you for your kindness and understanding.

He’s a small business but does great work my family has used him quite a few times
