does anyone know how to get to the little Saskatchewan river via the grand valley road..I went there a few years ago, and I remember we went under the bridge that intersects with hwy 1 and then turned right (I think) at the next right gravel road, but I am not sure..thanks

Its a crude drawing made in paint quickly but thats where people typically park and get out at the end of tubing. Usually get in up at Kirkhams bridge.

thanks for the map..I'm still not sure where to turn off to get to the river...I'm coming from brandon down grand valley road..do I go under the overpass, and then turn right at the first gravel road..? It has been a couple of years since I went there...I'm not going tubing..I'm just going for a picnic and do some fishing.. Is there any signage?

Go under the number one heading west on grand valley., take the right onto the gravel road. Follow the gravel road till you get to a bridge and your there.

Take #10 north turn on Kirkhams road,I think it’s one mile north of the airport. It takes you to the bridge.

Just to add some confusion to this discussion, the directions given are not the same bridge. If you go under #1Hwy on Grand Valley Rd and continue west on the gravel road, you are at the bridge closest to the Assiniboine River. If you take #10 north to the first gravel road north of the airport and turn west, you will get to Kirkham's Bridge. The two bridges are separated by about 2-3 miles of winding river.

is there any way to get to way the little sask.river and the Assiniboine river meet ?

A canoe is one way.
