18th Street falls under Manitoba's Provincial Highways, not the City of Brandon.  
 
Brandon has had CAA worst Roads in the past.  
 
For information, any public citizens can vote every spring through the publicly promoted CAA website.

There was an announcement a few weeks ago that the province is willing to rush 18th repaving to this summer IF the city can finish sewer repairs. Has anyone heard from the city if this will happen?

The amount of taxes I pay this is crazy. I can't drive to the grocery store and back without knocking ny dentures out of my face

MPI needs to change policy that hitting a pothole is at fault accident for the driver.  
 
I don’t made paying my deductible but paying high insurance as it is 100% fault accident.  
 
MPI needs to sue any government or owners that have these potholes for the costs instead of drivers.  
 
No reason for not fixing them. No excuses either.  
 
If not enough employees hire some. If not enough equipment. If necessary use a contractor.  
 
Plus plan better your schedule.

Making a claim does not affect your rating. I’m going through it right now. Just pay your deductible. My hole was at the corner of 26th and McTavish back in April. I told her I had someone behind me and someone beside me so I couldn’t swerve or brake suddenly to avoid. All truth. She says it wouldn’t be a mark against my perfect rating.

The city just awarded the contract for the sewer and water work this past week, so it won’t be long before the work should begin.
