Does anyone know which pharmacy carries these? Was prescribed these because I have a low deficiency in vitamin B12, but cannot find them anywhere?

They may call them that but usually it’s just a tiny cherry tab you desolve in your cheek/ under your tongue. Any where you can get vitamins there should be some b12 options.

I buy the Jamieson 1000 mg rapid dissolve tablets. Put one under your tongue and it is dissolved in a minute or so. I get them at Safeway or Walmart.

I have never heard the term "lozenges" associated with Vitamin B12. You can purchase pills to swallow or dissolvable tablets, either work fine.

According to my doctor, he said, vitamin B12 lozenges, absorb into the system better, and actually boost your energy. They are 1200 mg instead of the pill form which is 1000mg. They have them on Amazon, so I guess I will have to order from there.

If you want quick absorption you want sublingual, either quick dissolve tabs, liquid drops or spray. Sublingual (under the tongue) absorbs very fast because it is highly vascularized (many blood vessels).

I personally would speak to your pharmacist about the best form. The term "lozenges" usually refers to quick dissolving type under the tongue tablets which are easily available. I do wonder if that is what your Dr refers to as a "lozenge". No offense to your Dr at all, but usually find pharmacists extremely knowledgeable on the best way to take medications and usually have great suggestions that physicians are not always aware of. Its worth asking anyway as that is their specialty.

You are looking for B12 sublingual, some brands will say dissolvable, or fast dissolving (Jamieson brand). You can get it just off the shelf in the vitamin aisle if most stores.  
 
Just put it under the tongue and it kind of just melts. Under the tongue is the fasted way to absorb into body.

Just wanted to let everybody know who chimed in on this topic that I got my vitamin B12 lozenges at Hedleys Health Hut this morning. 1200 mg. Not under the tongue sublinguals. Lozenges. Cherry flavour.
