First time going I won Friday day passes so a few questions what time does the day start and what time does the day end ?  
What should I take and not take ? I know it's only a day .

any suggestions ?

Are you staying in town? If you are book a hotel now. They fill quickly. Music doesn’t start until around 10 am but you can check the site for times. There are after party socials as well after 12. Be aware that traffic will suck hard, one way in and out.  
As for what to take depends on if you’re bringing your own vehicle or shuttling over. If your taking your own vehicle up than take everything, the weather is usually either super hot or rainy as hell. Wear comfy not great shoes you don’t mind being ruined. The mud is usually bad, and you never know what you will step in. Wear a hat either way and sun screen. There are a ton of vendors for food water and all kinds of things. It’s almost like being at the markets similar to the winter fair. If you take your phone make sure it’s secure and charged. Not sure if there will be charging stations. Also bring a bit of cash even with the extra towers the net connections for atms can be a bit sketch

What do you want to do when you go there? Get drunk and stoned? No problem there as most people are in that camp. Do you want to be responsible for your actions after that? Most people do but a lot don’t . So basically, that’s how it goes. In between all that there are some pretty good musical acts and some that are not. In the end I got tired of all that and stopped going.
