    hello does anyone know of anyone who they can recommend to determine if my yard in the city would have area for a shallow well?

    Would guess that Paddock Drilling might be able to help with that. They do well drilling and I see their trucks around the city all the time. I’d try them

    Ask Manitoba Hydro to come out and mark any and all lines going through underneath your property.  
     
    Who knows what utilities are running underneath.

    Certain areas of town are good for sandpoint wells. What area are you in? Sandpoint would be the most economical for you. If you have to drill and case it it's quite expensive.
