I am trying to find out (for a friend) who inherited some old paper money and coin. I can't make any sense trying to look on-line. Does anyone know of a reliable, trustworthy person/place who may know something of its value in Brandon or otherwise? I checked Prov Coin & Stamp in Wpg and they charge $100.00/hour and only take 1967 and older, no pennies or nickels (but I'm not quite sure what ALL she has. Am just starting the journey.

try the local library, they will probably have a catalogue that covers North America. Usually arranged by face value by year, bear in mind condition will alter any value so use the lowest given. Also invariably the prices are what a dealer will charge you to purchase, not what he will pay you when buying.  
You could also try looking on places like Ebay to see what similar items sold for.
