We let the calls go to answer machine

usually it's a robo call and never speaks, so we just delete the call
Problem is that a number of businesses, MPI claims included, do not subscribe to caller display, Neepawa emergency messaging is another. We have had calls from banks that do not display a name.
Maybe the 'phone companies should be made to verify the number before connecting to us, but wait, that will cost them money.
Maybe we could submit a list of numbers that we will accept calls from, but that would mean extra storage that will cost the companies.
Off subject slightly, why do the banking/financial institutions not agree to automatically recall funds where a person has been scammed, the last in the line will be the one holding the loss as they did not do due diligence on the account holder, or is that too simple.
Just my thoughts.
