I'm looking for the best way to send some boxed up family heirlooms to my family in Ontario. I've been trying to call Canada Post but get a machine and so far no call back. I'd like a decent price but also want to find somewhere accessible or that has a cart that I can wheel my boxes in on. I have a cart here to get them to my car. Carrying the boxes is difficult because of age and some physical limitations. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks.

A little more expensive than Canada Post, but the UPS store on 18th Street - by the bulk barn.  
Just walk in and Dave will come out and give you hand from your car to the store with your packages.

I second the UPS recommendation on 18th beside the Bulk Barn. I've had various transactions here over the years and the atmosphere is friendly, staff in my experience have been kind and helpful and prices and services are reasonable as compared to Canada Post for shipping purposes. Family heirlooms are important. You want to ship them safely.

I also recommend the UPS Store. I shipped an antique heirloom cedar chest to Vancouver through them and the guy working there was simply awesome. Chest arrived in perfect condition, and tracking easy peasy.
