But can’t figure out that you have to have a pres:cription from a doctor. So hard to get in to see one.  
 
Pharmacists do so many medical things. Why not add this to the list as an alternative?  
 
Easier and faster than waiting for dr appointment or walk-in.  
 
Also more private for the young girls who need them instead of a family dr or walk-in.

Takes 30 minutes on average at Bennings to get a 3 month pres:cription. If she is highschool age they have a clinic every month in the schools with a doctor, can get pres:criptions, etc

I think the US has recently approved an OTC birth control pill. It is also approved in Europe. It will be here eventually.

So, a doctor isn't private now? Maybe the young girls need to get over themselves and go to the doctor. It:s not like it's a kiosk at a busy shopping mall. Sheesh.

I'm assuming the privacy issue would come from parents who might not agree with their children being on birth control.

Doctor is a private for the appointments but hard for a girl to get to see them without her mother getting involved. Or someone you know in waiting room telling. “Saw your daughter at dr office how she is ok”  
 
And don’t say parents need to know.  
 
It is great if the parents are supportive but a minority are not.  
 
The most important item is to stop pregnancies.  
 
I just think it would be great for options at drugstores.
