Have a phone that will connect to the pc, screen is half a@#ed visable but non functioning. I have the passwords etc. Any recommendations of where to take to get the data transferred over to a new phone. Been trying every youtube hack I can find with no luck.

I had the same thing happen to my Samsung. I bought a new Samsung phone and used the "Smart Switch" feature to transfer all my data to the new phone. I will say that my screen was totally messed up and it took many tries to log in for the transfer to happen but I was persistent and it finally connected. My screen keypad was so out of wack I had to figure out where the numbers used to be and keep trying. Maybe this would work for you.

They were great when my Samsung broke, they got info transferred and not exorbitant in price

I can extract the data for you and put on USB drive then insert it back to your new phone via PC. Would not take long. I do this by donation.  
I also help people to get data like photos and videos from broken computers that won't boot up. (as long as hard drives are not broken). I have some data extracting equipment and docks for 2.5 and 3.5" drives.
