If you own a business and have VLT machines, do you pay a percentage of daily/monthly proceeds to Manitoba Lotteries? If so, how is that monitored as in knowing how much gets paid to them?

Yes, Manitoba Lotteries takes a percent/commission.  
I DO NOT know how much.  
However, EVERY Machine is controlled out of their Office in Winnipeg.  
They know exactly what was put in and what was paid out.  
They have complete control over each machine and can shut it down @ anytime  
Every VLT in the province is connected to Winnipeg office and they know, in real time, ALL information from any machine  
I can't remember exactly which holiday/holidays they shut them down, or if they still do that, but "at the flip of a switch" all VLT s in the province were shut down from the Winnipeg office, to honour the holiday .
