    Battery Recycling at Shoppers Mall?

    Before I lug down this bag of dead batteries, is there really a recycling box at the mall?

    Simply bring your used batteries to Shoppers Mall and place them in our specially marked battery collection container located in front of Reitman's and we will ensure that they are responsibly recycled by our partner Recycle Your Batteries, Canada!

    Shoppers does NOT take batteries

    Update. They do not take batteries. McMunn and Yates however has their box right inside the door. Thank you M&Y

    In case anyone else is looking for another drop-off site, the downtown public library also has a drop-off for dead batteries.

    I walk in the mall in the am and I checked today the recycle bin for batteries was gone. Was there a couple weeks ago and not there now? They are setting up Xmas stuff and maybe removed it for the space.
