I moved here from Regina, and the street I lived on NEVER saw a plow, and that was in the 90's when we received far more snow than we do now.
Plows can break down, they are limited by the number of people that are employed, and they have to find ways to reduce costs. So, as is always the case, if you want services to continue or get better, expect to pay way more in taxes. Because a small increase only covers inflation...and City employees have been without an agreement for nearly a year. "
I also use to live in Regina in the 90's and the only time I remember having good, regularly plowed streets, is the one house that was located on a bus route! Brandon snow removal has been awesome. Great work City of Brandon!
