Finally!!! It was about time, only 9 years too late but at least he's gone, hopefully the whole liberal agenda goes away too, Im so tired of our children to be forced to those stupid nonsense of their political agenda, it's time to go back to common sense and bring back the good old society and stop the woke garbage! Come on Poilievre let's bring it home and show them how it's done!

The damage he did will take years to repair. Our country is a joke to the rest of the world now. It doesn't matter who our next government is, they will not be able to repair this mess for years.

It's too bad all this is happening at a time when we need a really strong measured response to Trumps threats. The pessimistic side of me thinks we are in for tough economic times. We did well the last time Trump was in power. Trump was never happy with the renegotiated NAFTA and it's been nagging at him. He wants to come back hard. We need a strong united team Canada response. Unfortunately our strongest bargaining chip is Alberta oil and Danielle Smith is prepared to throw the rest of Canada under the bus to protect Alberta's interests at the expense of the rest of the country. Too bad because withholding oil could bring a quicker resolution.

Funny how now everyone is worried and actually caring about what Alberta is going to do because no one gave a flying eff when Trudeau literally economically decimated the province. In fact, lots of folks from Ontario actually made fun of Alberta and said they deserve all the hardships they get. Love to watch fols backpeddle.

I'm pissed at how much money Trudeau has given to Alberta projects to bail them out. Also under his watch the pipeline from Alberta to Quebec was reversed getting Alberta oil to flow into Quebec refineries.  
 
Harper is the one that reconstructed the transfer payments the way they are today so Alberta can be pissed at Harper for the taxes flowing to Manitoba and other provinces. Manitoba benefits from this as a "have not" province and gets one of the highest payments in Canada from Alberta (the "have" provinces).  
 
If your reading the Fraser Institute bs, that's a con think tank that spins information for Conservative political interest.  
 
PP will destroy the rights of women and many others in this country much like Mr Orange has south of the border.  
 
I don't like him but Trudeau has been better financially and human rights wise than any Conservation PM in the last 50 years. Unless you're making well over 100k/year you have a lower effective tax rate now, especially if you have a family.

I keep reading that Trump and Pollievre hate women and want to destroy their rights, yet they seem to surround themselves with women and give them positions of power, and women voters seem to respond well to them, perhaps you could explain what it is exactly that you think they are trying to accomplish that is so evil ?  
 
If anyone seems to hate women, its Trudeau, how many female mp's has he forced from office now for not kow-towing to his will, 4 or is it 5 ?  
 
How can anyone honestly say PM Trudeau has a better financial or humans rights record than a sack of potatoes let alone any previous government ?  
 
The guy literally claimed budgets balance themself, then sets a 40 billion budget last year and claims they have put guardrails in place to stop out of control spending then goes 20 billion over that the next year.  
 
The same guy who ballooned the federal government employee total by nearly 50% in 9 years ?  
 
And lets talk about human rights, lets talk about how Trudeau enacted the war measures act so he could trample, literally i might add, a peaceful protest against his government, arrested people and spent years prosecuting them for "mischief" charges.  
 
Yet he only chose to prosecute one specific protest group, and lets numerous others run rampant, physically assaulting and threatening people, publicly making death threats against a whole race of people, blocking traffic and public institutions and they all seem to get police protection not charges, and hmm no frozen bank accounts or trumped up mischief charges either.  
 
The same guy who never lets a chance go by without appropriating another culture so he can get a photo op out of the deal ?

While I don't doubt that PP will win because of the seething hatred which is carried for the name Trudeau on this side of Ontario, I expect very little of the incoming government. I see little more than an empty suit that only looks complementary in contrast.  
 
I've never really disliked Trudeau. Frankly, I don't think he ever was talented enough to be the boogie man that many make him out to be. All in all, however, i'll be glad to maybe, just MAYBE, have a hope at a constructive conversation not based strictly on someones long since deseased father.  
 
I think i'll be voting Green this time around.

Need Pierre to run this country and get it back on its heals. Trump would mop the floor with the phony spineless fleeing libs.
