I haven't been in Brandon long enough to really get to know anyone yet and since I love to garden I thought it might be nice to join one of the clubs. I love the garden tours and the plant sale put on by the Brandon Garden club and paid the $5 to go to one of their meetings but when I tried to find the membership fee and how to join it sounded like quite a lot of red tape. I also have enjoyed talking with some of the Westman garden club members at the sales they've held at members homes. Are there really a lot of requirements and a private vote before you can join the Brandon Garden club? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

There is no vote required to join the Brandon Garden Club - just the $25 which is good for the year.  
 
There is a speaker at each meeting, member tours, and more. This is my third year in the club and it always delivers. I sent you a message with the details of our director in charge of membership and hope you will join too.

Thank you so much Francine! As I explained in a private message it was a stupid error on my part. The Brandon Garden Club website I found was somewhere in the United States. I think they do things quite differently there. I enjoy the Brandon Garden club tours very much and also love the plant sales. The talk I went to last fall was great, it was the one with Kelly Leask of Prairie Originals as a speaker. I just wanted to clear things up here in case anyone else had read my original post and wondered.
