fallleaves said "i have suffered from frequent migraines, many severe ones, since i was a young child. A few years ago I learned where Vitamin B12 could possibly help with them. I started getting a monthly 1 ml injection of Vitamin B12, and the results have been unreal. I went from having regular migraines requiring migraine medication, to having an occassional headache that is easily managed. I know it may not work for everyone, but why not inquire about giving it a try. "
Were you tested for a b12 deficiency? Just curious because I’ve heard things about b12 being helpful but is that only if migraines are caused by low b12? My b12 levels are fine, but I have difficult to control, frequent migraines.
And to the OP, do you mean the monthly biologic shots? I tried them. Honestly, they made me feel worse in other ways aside from the migraines. I think if I was able to tolerate them longer than I did they would have helped a lot though.
