would agree. A leader that can't hold onto his own seat, says a lot. What is left for a pool to draw from , is equally as scant. Recycle Andrew Scheer, or O'Toole ? They are in tough shape, and realize it.

We will be back at the polls in 2 years . P.P did a fine job. Most Canadians are easily manipulated.

I'm of two minds here. While I intensely dislike Pollievre, his party overall had their best showing in years in terms of seat count. He was also subject to that "longest ballot" nonsense, which I'm sure has a role in this. And like mentioned above, there are no obvious successors.  
 
I do wonder how effective he will be as party leader, however, if he's not in Parliament, especially if this minority government lasts as long as the last. The NDP, I believe, still hold the balance of power despite their reduced ranks, so we could be in it for awhile as they find a new leader and rebuild before the next election.

Sadly Pollievre is not gone for good. Some poor sap who worked hard to win his seat will be mandated to step down so a by-election can be held in which PP will run as the Con candidate so he can get a seat in the house.  
 
Would be hilarious if he lost again, but they will be sure to pick a secure riding. Maybe Brandon-Souris?

want a leader who is like trump and will do the things trump does. Poilievre already has his full pension without ever have to work any real job. Just like Grant Jackson, worked in the office for Larry Maguire. Got elected MLA, then the moment Larry decided not to run again, Grand resigns as MLA. So in 6 years Grant will get his full MP pension.

Really depends what you mean by full pension. MPs pay a significant portion of their salary into their pension plan - over 20% of their salary.  
 
If they don't reach 6 years of service as an MP, their contributions are returned to them. If they do, they are eligible for a pension that will be roughly 3% of their salary for each year they were an MP.  
 
So after 6 years, they would be eligible for a pension worth 18% of their salary when they reach the retirement age.  
 
The plan is quite complex, but it's a massive oversimplification to say an MP gets a full pension after 6 years.
