with the bins and pick up if you have meat yuck or any stinky product does it sit in the bin for days to be picked up ?

Most things that would have a really offensive smell aren't allowed in the green bins. I'm not sure if you're concerned for your own green bin or a neighbours but here is a link for the guide as to what's allowable.

I'm sure you can go to the City of Brandon website to find out when the cart pickup is in your area.

You CAN’T compost meat, fish, dairy products, oils, pet waste, diapers, weeds that have gone to seed or any materials that are not biodegradable like plastic, glass and metal.  
 
You CAN compost fruit and vegetable peels, coffee grounds, eggshells, yard waste like leaves, grass clippings, twigs, and paper products like cardboard, newspaper- nothing glossy.

what do you do with meat bones or meat grease ?

I put bones and grease (when it turns to solid) in the garbage can.

Meat is not compostable, to be placed in your garbage.
