Maybe this scam isn’t new but I have a vehicle for sale and I’ve had 4 texts that are scammers. They do not want a carfax report but a VI report which apparently is about $32. They all ask about any issues with the vehicle and say they will make the deal right away if I provide them with the VI report. On one call, I told the guy that we would meet at BPS and never heard from him again. Do not give out your name, address or any info. They have a way of trying to get info from u. I just want people to be aware of this. And I am contacting the Anti Fraud Centre.  
There are also scammers selling vehicles at really cheap prices on Facebook. When inquiring, the seller says the  
 
vehicle is not their vehicle but a relative’s in another province and it goes on from there. The vehicle for sale is posted from many different towns around Mb. I have advised Facebook but they will not block these ads.

I had this last week.  
 
Used the name Joseph Domenech.  
 
Nothing on profile. Ended up being rude to me. Will not take no for an answer, did not turn up at agreed time. also offensive about CarFax.  
 
Was very glad to block him/her.  
 
Something was wrong from the start.

Do not accept e-transfer via MSN messenger.

These people are jerks and want info. You can look at their Facebook page and see if its even remotely real. I usually just delete the ones asking if its for sale or ask a question that's on the ad anyway. Even the weird names they use is a clue.  
And don't even open those bank or fake delivery messages about delayed packages. On your laptop or desktop you can hover the cursor over their sent address and it should show you the real address which is a scammer.

Just got a call. I won $900,000 and a new truck. How lucky can one person be. LOL Said it was because I spend more than $5.00 every time I shop. Don't know how they would know - I am old fashion I usually use cash.

Congratulations. If you decide to put that truck up for sale I'd be interested. I'm just waiting on the money from the Crown Prince of Istanbul to get to me. They are apparently trying to hide money abroad and they're giving me 4 million USD. Here's the best part, it only coast me $5000 to pay the taxes there.
