I have a newer 75"that will not turn on . Worked fine in the evening and in the morning it would not turn on . Are
theys tv worth fixing or worth anything at all . I also have a smaller plasma tv at only lights up on the top 1/3 of the screen . what do you do with these tv's .

How old is the "newer" 75 inch? And what type of tv is it?

Same thing happened to my tv! It’s an RCA. Almost made it to 2 years old and then the picture went black but there is sound. I’ve been wondering what can be done with it.

Check for recalls

Check on the manufacturer's website to see if your tv make/model has a known issue and the tv has been recalled.

We had a Sony tv that had an issue with a part and Sony did a recall. We just barely met the cutoff date (it had been displayed on the website for several years) but still fell within the allowed period. They no longer offered the replacement part so Sony just gave us a new, more current tv... completely free.

Also, check the warrantee... if it's still within the warrantee period I'd contact the manufacturer about what could be done under the warrantee.

Otherwise Brandon.ca has information on how to take E-waste to the Eastview Landfill for recycling. Go to the site and type "e-waste" in the search bar to find the instructions.

Sharp Roku 65”

I had a sharp Roku 65” TV that went completely black on me. I had a hard time finding anyone that could service it.
When I finally did I was told the required part and installation was nearly as much as what I paid for the TV (600-700 paid).

Unfortunately most electronic's and especially TV's are just throw a ways now. There was a place just north of Richmond on 1st Street that did big TV repairs. I'm not sure if they are still around or not.
Here are a few things to consider though:

-Check the TV warranty, it might still be valid.

-Did you use a credit card to buy as Visa and Mastercard have a double the warranty, depending on what kind of card it is.
