Hi, I am wondering about EA jobs in Brandon. Looking at a possible career change, and curious about this sector.  
 
Where did you go for training, did you feel it prepared you enough? What’s the job really like, the good and the bad? How physical is it? What is the difference between the general and life skills positions. What’s the workplace attitude like? Are some schools or grades better than others? Anything else you can tell me…

My daughter in law is a young EA and loves a job where she can help children! I believe many hired positions are for students with special needs and who require full assistant. My son has autism and always had a full time EA going through the Brandon school system. I think if you have a passion and patience for this job it might be the one for you! Good luck if you apply!

Basically all you need is your Grade 12 or GED to apply for general education assistant. Others positions are more specialized.
