    Is the Red Cross canvasing for donations in Brandon for wildfire victims ? had someone come to the door soliciting funds for those that lost their homes in the fires , Is it legit ?

    Wildfires were a while ago ,never heard of them going door to door seems little late in season for donations.  
     
    You can always call Brandon Police Service front desk line and ask if any canvassers about Brandon.

    99.9% of the time now a scam  
     
    personally i won't even answer the door to someone i don't know.  
     
    sign of the times.  
     
    can't trust name tags or even paperwork or even signs on their vehicles. all can be forged
