See big jump in gas prices again.  
 
Not surprised as it is long weekend coming.  
 
No excuses gas stations. Historical rises and falls  
 
Nice weather. Long weekends. Schools out. Schools start. Summer fairs. Etc.  
 
Not other excuses of Trump etc.  
 
Regular excuses are the waves.  
 
Plus the taking advantage of tax cuts. Oh cut tax on gas. See a couple days of change then back up again with gas stations pocketing difference.  
 
Excuses. since Friday seen the gas prices again changing daily and almost twice a day and location in Brandon. Up and down. Really high today.  
 
Come on do you think consumers are stupid. That gas in your tanks is the same price you paid for it. Its value didn’t go up and down. Nor do you fill it up twice a day.  
 
Unfortunately we live where vehicles are a necessity not a luxury.

Thought the same thing about gas priced - down for a day and then up but oh wait long weekend coming that explains it gauging at it's best, EV is great in a "big " city as a second vehicle - in the prairies when both have to go out of town for work it's no good save option in my opinion - summer maybe , winter no didn't want to get caught in a blizzard in an ev - if anything the way to go here is plug in hybrid to have the electric in city use but gas to fall back on in an emergency - just my opinion but the price to purchase either ev or plug in hybrid is a investment by itself not cheap

Last time I was in Niverville I saw lots of EVs for commuting back and forth to Winnipeg - around 40 to 50 km each way. If starting each day with a full "tank" of fuel, being stuck in a blizzard is no big deal if home is only 50km away. Lots of gas cars are commuting with much less than a full tank every day.

Prices will go up on long weekends. Humans suck, and people are greedy. That's what it comes down too. Economics and opportunities. I have never ever met one person in my life who would ever say they want less money. Producers, distributors,shippers, station owners, etc, all want more, just like the rest of us. When the chance to jack up prices is there, especially when demand is high, then that's what will happen. We all suck. That's the problem, that's the reason.
