You can receive email notifications when your CIBC Visa monthly statement is ready. You will not receive the actual statement PDF in your email for security reasons: instead, you'll get an alert notifying you that a new statement has arrived securely in your online banking.
Follow these steps to set up the notification:
Log in to CIBC Online Banking.
Go to the Customer Services menu and select Manage My Alerts.
Under the Credit Cards section, find eStatements or New Statement Alerts.
Set your notification preferences to Email.
Once set up, you can log in to view and download your eStatements at any time. To ensure you receive these notifications, make sure your email address is up to date in the My Profile section.

Thanks for the response! Yes, I can get it for my Visa account because it's a borrowing account. They claim they don't provide such a notification for other accounts like chequing or savings.
