Well the google car just drove by my place...sure glad I wasn't floating in the pool when it drove by!!! lol (me + bathing suit + internet = one cranky brandonite !!! lmao) Seeing as the camera on top could easily see over my 6 foot fence!!!

Angela, I was looking over your fence the other day when you were in there. Didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

I think the google car was around here not to long ago. Just trying to get the conversation back on track.

Google's Streetview technology is not what it used to be. Almost every face that you will every see on streetview will be blurred and the overall picture quality has been reduced. Not to mentions Google's automatic face detection blows and unintentionally blurs 50% of car rims/wheels because its mistakenly identified as a face.  
 
It just is not what it used to be and its quite sad and not enjoyable to use anymore.

I'm not into seeing the faces or cars as much as the actual scenery. But if the quality is reduced I hope everything else is still viewable. I CANNOT wait until they're finished!! I'm a big Google Earth fan!

So im not the only onw who seen it............he actually stoped at my work for gas lol. If I had thought of it I would have snaped a pic.

Very interesting to hear that they're back. Wonder what they missed? For anyone that's had a sighting... What parts of town are we talking?

So I guess that makes this the third visit from Google this year?

I saw it yesterday (July 28th)facing Richmond Ave East parked in front of Green Acres Restaurant. Just a plain looking car with a camera on a pole on top right?

today at about 2:45 at 1st & Vic. i see so many interesting things every day while i am working i need to start carrying a camera with me.

6th and Van Horne 4PM

managed to snap a poor shot (on my cell) of the street car today while out and about doing some work. Had to turn and chase it down the back lane around 2300 block of either princess or rosser (I forget which). Wanted to keep my distance as I didn't want to freak the driver out lol. I am guess they have came back to shoot the back lanes as it sounds like that it where most sightings have been!

11:30 on Victoria then turned north at 34th street.

just saw the google car - it was headed down the backlane behind the Brandon Inn....

I saw the google car again this weekend, not sure why it's still around! I attached some photos.

that's what that was. My beau and I were driving back from Winnipeg on Saturday and saw it driving East and we both thought it was a basketball net they had strapped to their roof!! LOL....

in a row driving east on Number 1 between Virden and Brandon on Saturday. I had no idea what was on the cars but my friend with me said they are google cars.

when they're gonna be finished?? I wanna see some scenery!!

looks like the camera is covered in the pictures. It's really interesting that they are still floating around Brandon and area.
