If there are no kids involved, then its all just mathematical formulas based on who owned what prior to marriage, length of marriage, and so forth, its fairly straightforward.
If she owned the house mortgage free prior to marriage, and was married a short time, then its her house.
If they bought the house together, and paid it off together over 20 years, then its a 5050 split, like someone said, she'll have to buy him out.
But again, its all based on established formulas, good lawyer or bad lawyer, won't make a difference.
