Long time high school hockey coach Pete Gerlinger is stepping down as head coach of the Crocus Plainsmen.
The former BU Bobcat has been coaching in the Westman High School Hockey League since 1989.
He tells Q-Country his teams made some great memories along the way.
"We went to Cape Breton and played in front of 2,000 people. Trips to Dallas and the World Juniors. We just had amazing times together."
Gerlinger also spent time with Neelin and Vincent Massey.
He will stay on as the colour analyst for Wheat Kings games here on Q-Country 91.5.
