Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – Crocus Plains football coach Rob Dinsdale has won the Frank L. McKinnon award for outstanding volunteerism in high school sports.
Dinsdale took over as head coach of the Plainsmen in 2016, following the unexpected death of long time coach Kevin Boyd.
In a release the MHSAA says"not only are players taught skills specific to football, they are also taught skills to increase their moral intelligence, soft skills, work ethic in sports and academics, and to overall just be a good citizen."
The Frank L. McKinnon award is handed out every year by the Manitoba High School Athletics Association.
