Brandon, MB (CKLQ) – The Brandon Wheat Kings will be doing their part in honouring the Humboldt Broncos hockey team during Tuesday’s playoff game versus the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
Before Game 3 at Westoba Place, the teams and the fans will take part in a moment of silence.
The Wheat Kings organization will be selling Humboldt Strong t-shirts, and there will be a raffle for a game worn Brandon Wheat Kings jersey with the number 15 on the back and the "BRONCOS" name on the back.
All proceeds from the sold t-shirts and raffle will go towards the Humboldt Broncos.
The team said there are other plans in place for Wednesday’s game to be announced later.
There will be a tailgate fundraiser before Wednesday’s game at Brandon Heritage Co-Op hosted by Q-Country 91.5 and 94.7 Star FM from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.
