A 19-year-old man was hit by a car while walking along Roblin Boulevard at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, say RCMP.

Police say the driver of the vehicle did not stop to help the victim and fled the scene.

RCMP say officers found the victim on the shoulder of the road and he was taken to hospital to be treated for three separate injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.

An adult male is in custody and police say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
