Winnipeg police have arrested a suspect after two cab drivers were robbed and assaulted.
On May 29, a cab driver was robbed and assaulted in the area of Burrows Avenue and Main Street, said officers.
The 43-year-old male cab driver received minor injuries.
On June 1, a cab driver was robbed and assaulted, receiving minor injuries to the upper body in the area of Flora Avenue and Main Street, said police.
On June 2, officers arrested a suspect.
Devon Earl Sampson, 32, faces charges for two counts of robbery with violence and also faces a charge for escape lawful custody for attempting to flee from officers during processing, said police.
