Winnipeg police discovered a drug stash of nearly $900,000 on Friday after being called to a domestic disturbance on Jubilee Avenue.
Police say they were called to the 900-block of Jubilee just after 8 p.m. in response to a fight between a man and woman. When police arrived they found 300 marijuana plants and 500 marijuana clones, with an estimated street value of $880,000.
Police say the 46-year-old man and 40-year-old woman will be facing charges for the production of a controlled substance. They have been released on a promise to appear.
